Early warning anti-smoking alert

The Royal College of Physicians has published a report demanding some pretty severe restrictions on smoking and tobacco. The announcement is embargoed until 00:01 hrs tonight so expect the story to be in many of tomorrow's papers as well as online.

This afternoon Forest issued a response - also embargoed until midnight - which I will publish here tomorrow. Watch this space.

Well, it looks like it's time to buy a car with tinted windows.

I am sure it was Pat Karney who recently implied that the banning of smoking in cars was just not on the cards. Very, very funny people!

psst.
They can't even stop people using mobile phones in cars.
Just flout the law.
It deserves contempt.
By the way I think after the latest troughing revelations our glorious murderers and thieves are on very thin ice.
I doubt if they'l be much canvasing going on in May.
Sounds dangerous to me.

Just wondered who financed the report. I noticed from their annual accounts that they are heavily funded by the Pharms.

Probably nothing new but we all know what they are really trying to sell.
