The Pleasure is all ours

Delighted to report that we have just booked a great band to play at our fringe event at the Conservative party conference (see previous post). Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce ... King Pleasure and The Biscuit Boys.

Yep - King Pleasure and the lads will make the evening swing. Saw them years ago in one of our local pubs - but that was back in the days when good pubs (like good bands) were all about social pleasure, gaiety, and simple enjoyment.
Please God, those days have not gone for good.
Incidentally, it has always surpised me that Conservative-related events have never featured a Blues band. But I guess the Devil's Music would prove a little TOO testing for the many pious souls that infest the Party these days.
