Excerpt from David Cameron's reaction (still in draft form) to the 'Voices of Freedom' event:

"Look, we in the Conservative Party are a broad church. And life would be pretty boring if we all thought and felt the same, wouldn't it? That's why we are not afraid to allow various fringe groups, representing minority opinions, to have their say, too. No matter how weird and eccentric they may seem to most of us. And we're all in favour of Freedom, aren't we? But, you know, Freedom comes at a price. And sometimes, that price means LESS freedom. And it's up to people like me to determine how much less. After all, the Freedom to Rape, to Rob, and to Murder is no 'freedom' at all to the victim, is it ? In the same way...."

At any rate, the greatest of Good Fortune attend you all on the day !

Guys can I give you a run down as to where the political agenda is in the Westminster Bubble, the priorities are:

1. National debt.
2. Immigration.
3. Europe.
4. Unemployment.
5. Crime and punishment.
6. Civil Liberties.

6. Civil Liberties breaks down into:

A. 42 day detention
B. CCTV cameras
C. Council intrusions.
D. Smoking ban.

It is not an issue that keeps most people in Westminster awake at night.

However the smoking ban is a millstone round the neck of politicians that pops up in their inboxes every day and punches well above its weight. We in the pro choice movement never forget to remind our Lords and Masters what the situation is and we have kept the flame alight and I hope, will continue to do so.
