Quiet, please
Thursday, June 24, 2010 I'm trying to write my speech for this evening's Free Society debate and there is a man with a chainsaw in the garden next door. It is IMPOSSIBLE to concentrate. Btw, I'm on SunTalk at 11.10. Hope they'll be able to hear me above the din - it's doing my head in!

My sympathies.
But even THAT is preferable to the Man With A New Drum Kit (Dum dum dat, dum dum dat, dum dum dat.................etc etc) who moved in opposite me a couple of years back.
Luckily, I believe he's been kidnapped by terrorists - who are demanding money NOT to release him............................
