I was due to appear on Aljazeera this afternoon, taking part in a 30-minute discussion on the Inside Story programme. At midday however I got an email saying the item was postponed "due to breaking news in the Middle East".

Alex Deane of Big Brother Watch is on the money at Conservative talking about the state's invasive questioning of our lifetyles into smoking and drinking. Surprise, surprise Alex is a speaker at the Voices Of Freedom debates.
