I've just heard the podcast and cant believe that the Council jobsworths hid behind the rules and wouldnt approach the pensioners who were smoking, Big Brother has done its job well when initiative is blanked to such a degree.
The same goes for those dithering Judges many of whom should have been sent out to pasture years ago.
And the judge who handed down a six months sentence to Nick for non payment of a fine has to be on the payroll of Big Govt under the quise of 'lessons to be learned' and all that bullshit.
Where's the justice in this instance even apart from the fact of the law being an ass, especially when you see hardened criminals getting off with less sentences or scott free more often than not.
As far as I know non payment of a fine warrants no more than a two week sentence.
I hope all smokers vote for Nick in the elections, it would be the best way to show the antis how we feel and by giving them the finger.
