Devil's Kitchen is one of many guests who will be attending Forest's 30th anniversary reception on Monday 22 June which features the launch of Chris Snowdon's magnificant new book Velvet Glove, Iron Fist: A History of Anti-Smoking.
Signed copies will be available on the night for the special (reduced) price of £10. You can also order copies via THIS website.
Other confirmed guests include Dr Eamonn Butler, director of the Adam Smith Instiute; Patrick Basham, director of the Democracy Institute; James Panton, co-founder of the Manifesto Club; Mark Wallace, campaign director of the Taxpayers Alliance; Shane Frith and Mark Littlewood of Progressive Vision; and Rob Lyons, deputy editor of the online magazine Spiked.

May I urge anyone within striking distance of London and a TakingLiberties contributor to come along. I have been to a number of Forest events and they are unmitigated fun. Simon is an excellent host and organiser. Boisdale's despite having an extra star or two for quality is delightfully unpretentious and people there are happy to enagage in conversation despite not being introduced before hand.
I guarentee a great night out.
How do I get an invite to the Tuscan sex gig?
