Football crazy

Earlier this week I managed to get tickets for Dundee United's match with Celtic in Glasgow on Saturday.

It was too late for them to be sent by post to my home in Cambridgeshire, so tomorrow I shall be driving 300 miles to Dundee (via Edinburgh and St Andrews) in order to collect them from United's club shop when it opens at 10.00am on Saturday.

Fortunately it's a 3.00pm kick-off so there will be plenty of time to drive to Glasgow for the game. That's the good news. The bad news is that the tickets are "restricted view" and I can't remember the last time United won at Parkhead. Watch this space.
