Freedom and whisky

A couple of months ago I was interviewed by Tom Bruce-Gardyne, writer, journalist and author of The Scotch Whisky Book. Tom was writing a feature for Harpers magazine about the lessons the drinks industry could learn from the war on tobacco. I personally think for us smokers this is a result. Not only have 12 million smokers been alienated but 40 million drinkers. Even rabid, drinking anti smokers wil either keep their council (councel?, spelling) or now have our sympathy. Excuse my cynicism.
