Two sides to liberal use of language

swearbox-100.jpg "Swearing at work can be of benefit to staff, new research suggests. The use of expletives helps employees let off steam and boosts morale ..."

On the other hand: "Abusive language caused work-related suicide."

The buffoon who committed seppuku because his supervisor said nasty things to him (poor sod) qualifies for a Darwin Award!

Perhaps this Nanny State of ours might make this compulsory. They have made our lives miserable with all these bans. Where I work, one supervisor was sacked for making a genuine mistake costing £15,000 while a manager got promotion for a £27,000 loss after at least 30 of us told him it couldn't be done.
Perhaps we should have more referundii. These are only offered to us when the result would be in their favour.
Remember, Gordon What'sit told that the electorate didn't want a general election.

I found that when I got stressed at work, I would go for a fag and felt much better. Smoking banned, so have to resort to swearing, which can result in more stress.

The download link to 'Prejudice & Propaganda: The Truth About Passive Smoking' is down. Can you please check as I'd like to read.

Thanks :-)
