I was on Newstalk myself this afternoon speaking to George Hook, presenter of the news and current affairs programme The Right Hook.

Powerful point made by John that Ireland's exporting the 'Irish Pub' as a brand, yet they're closing in their droves in Ireland.

I also detected more sympathy from the interviewer than Simon's used to in the UK.
