More popular than the Pope?

We are currently inviting people to take part in the Voices of Freedom debates. I've just spoken to the PA of a man who attracted some attention in political circles as a result of a book he wrote, but to say he is a significant political figure would be an exaggeration.
Sadly we are unlikely to be graced with His presence. As his PA informed me, only minutes ago, "He's very busy, busier than the Pope. And definitely more popular!"
(I wish I could say who the Great Man is. But I can't.)

I just has to be BORIS!
No.
Well it certainly cannot be Blair....no one could even contemplate stumping up enough money to get him to attend anything.
Must be Andrew Rawnsley. He fits the description to a tee. Thinks of himself as some sort of high level political hack but the best he could do was unattributable comments about Gordon Brown losing his temper.
" to say he is a significant political figure would be an exaggeration............."
Well, THAT certainly narrows the list down.
To (roughly) the entire population of the United Kingdom.
Roy Hattersley wrote a book about his dog once.
No, that can't be it.
Think we need more clues, somehow..............
It would be easy for any public figure to be more popular than the pope right now.
As His Holiness hasnt a minute covering up paedophilia in the catholic church.
But in the busy stakes, I'd say this mysterous author would come second to busy Banksters trying to cover their tracks!!
