Politics and prohibition - part one
The holidays are over (for most of us) and the party conference season is almost upon us. For the Lib Dem conference in Bournemouth Forest is joining forces with Liberal Vision to host two back-to-back events under the title "Politics and Prohibition".
The first event is a panel discussion featuring me, Mark Littlewood of Liberal Vision, and two other speakers (tbc). This will be followed by a good old-fashioned drinks party with FREE refreshments and live music. Venue is the Royal Exeter Hotel and the fun starts at 6.15pm on Tuesday 22nd September.
Both events will be used to promote the Save Our Pubs and Clubs campaign. If you would like to join us in Bournemouth and help promote the event, please email my colleague Jacqui Miles ... info@amendthesmokingban.com.

"the party conference season is almost upon us." - SC
.....and the UKIP National Party Conference 2009 is in the Southport Conference Centre on 4th & 5th September. Amending the smoking ban to allow proprietors freedom to run their own businesses is already in their manifesto. A sharp reminder of this could be given to delegates at both the Tory and LibDem Conferences.
