Coming soon ...

It's been under wraps for a while but I can now reveal the logo for our new campaign - Save Our Pubs & Clubs: Amend The Smoking Ban.com - which will be launched later this month. The campaign will have its own website where you can register your support and catch up on news and developments. For the moment, watch this space.

The logo has been designed by musician, photographer and graphic designer Dan Donovan. Dan first offered his services to Forest three years ago. Since then he's designed all sorts of stuff for us - logos, letterheads, invitations and flyers and so on.
Dan is one half of King Kool, best described as garage grunge. He and I have been working around the clock on a variety of campaign tools - beer mats, bookmarks, car and window stickers to name a few - because everything has to be signed off by tomorrow when Dan leaves to play some gigs in Holland.
He will be back, taking photographs, at the campaign launch in London. Perhaps, with the band's help, we can attract some new - and vocal - supporters!

Did someone mention beermats? (See comments.) 50,000 are currently in production for distribution in pubs and clubs. More will follow. As I say, watch this space.

It looks like a beer mat. You could print off a few thousand of them, and scatter them on pub tables.
Indeed idlex, I think it is supposed to look like a beer mat. At the rate the pubs are closing it probably isn't worth printing off thousands. Anyway all the pubs are now full of the happy antis and their luvverly chiiiildren, drinking herbal tea and snarfing down tofu sandwiches, aren't they?
Rather than spending money on beermats etc Forest should have bought the disc containing the MPs expenses rather than letting the Telgraph get their hands on it. Just think how quickly the ban would have been abolished never mind amended if MPs knew that details of their thieving practices would be published if they didn't play ball.
Maybe it is not too late. Target those MPs who voted through a total ban by keeping up the publicity in their constituency until they agree to support an amendment. MPs are currently thought of even lower than cigarette companies so it would be timely to attack.
I think this is a great idea especially the bit that says amend the smoking ban on the beer mat.
Its the way to go, play the anti smoking PR guru's at their own game and un-brainwash the brainwashed.
I would donate any day to anyone who would put up posters, like they use for elections, that said revert the smoking ban.
Cracking stuff. It's innovate ideas like this that will bring a high profile and success!!
