I've been on the train for 90 minutes. We have just left York and I am drinking my first gin and tonic of the day. "Do you want a receipt, sir?" asked the attendant. Er, no, thanks. What do you think I am - an MP?
PS. The train I'm on is bound for Inverness. I wish I was. (I'll tell you why later.)

I think you are under a misapprehension about our MPs. They would never ask for a receipt for a drink on the train since they travel first class and the booze is complimentary!!
But then again, if they thought they could get away with it.....
