April Fool? You couldn't make it up

It's an indication of how bad things are that glancing through today's newspapers it's hard to figure out which is the April Fool story. Here, for example, are some headlines from the Daily Mail. Ten years ago most of these reports would have been dismissed as "jokes". Today?

1. "Premier calls for new world order"
2. "Black box that tracks every mile you drive"
3. "£400,000 damages for man who cut his finger"
4. "Licence fee police may target you for watching TV on the net"
5. "Mother-to-be ordered out of pub by staff concerned for health of her baby"

As Richard Littlejohn would say, you couldn't make it up.

Indeed, 10 years ago you couldnt make up this bullshit and its truly unbelievable that we are actually living through it in these so called enlightened times.
When did the lunatics take over the asylum, how did it happen. Did we all take our eye off the ball or what, or was it all in the plan manipulated by 'the powers that be'. But to what end.
Maybe if some bright spark could figure out their hidden agenda it might give us some hope.
But how can anyone figure it out when all our brains are scrambled!!
Someone told me recently that the agenda was to make Barak Obama president of all the world and when you think about it, its not that surprising, an affable mouthpiece with no history or experience saying all the right words while his controllers work in the background.

So, come on Simon, which one is the April Fool story? Perhaps it's one you didn't mention "Gordon Brown uses G20 as platform to apologise for his handling of the economy during his time as Chancellor and announces his intention to step down as PM before anarchy sets in."

Gordon Brown wins Nobel Peace Prize had me open-mouthed and goggle-eyed for about a minute.

Tom Harris put this on his blogsite not long after midnight http://www.tomharris.org.uk/2009/04/01/the-case-for-blog-regulation/
By the comments you can see that many did not realise it was an April Fool.

It's all in preparation for us becoming an Islamic state
