Last night on the Blighty channel award-winning bar owner Jay Smith began his campaign to save four local pubs. In THIS clip he talks about the impact of the smoking ban.
Thank you for you recent communication concerning some of the alleged effects of the Smoking Ban on the public house trade.
Whilst I have every sympathy with the point of view expressed (I like the occasional pint myself), I nonetheless feel that - in light of all the most recent medical and scientific evidence - that the beneficial effects of the ban are far too obvious to ignore, and that a significant improvement in public health etc etc blah blah blah........................."
