Is Apple anti-smoker?

I'm no computer geek but I worked on my first Apple Macintosh 28 years ago and I currently own an iPhone, an iMac and a MacBook Air.

The iMac, in particular, is a joy to behold. On looks alone there is no comparison with those horrible Windows-based PCs that blight so many homes and offices. Anyone who says a PC is better than a Mac is, quite frankly, an idiot on so many levels.

How, then, should I react to the news that customers in America have been told that their Applecare warranties may not apply if the fault is caused by secondhand smoke. The Consumerist has the full story HERE.

Is Apple anti-smoker?

Let's turn the question round:

Can ANYONE name a SINGLE Agency, Institution, Corporation, Trade Union, Charity, Religious Denomination, Newspaper, Television Channel, Local Authority, Legislature (national or local) or similar that is PRO-Smoker ?

And I mean 'pro'- not merely tactically tolerant of.

No, Tobacco Companies don't count - and I'm not even sure of THEM.................

CrApple: most of those paying twice the price for half the power will probably approve of their computer-mfr making their lifestyle-decisions for them.
