GMTV - a nation awaits
Tuesday, December 15, 2009 As things stand I have been booked to appear on GMTV at 7.15 tomorrow morning. However there are several factors that could scupper the plan so don't hold your breath (or set your alarm clock too early). I'll keep you posted.
Update: as (half) expected, I am no longer needed. GMTV wanted me to comment on the Department of Health's Tobacco Control Strategy which was due to be published tomorrow. Sources say the DH has "bottled it" and the TCS will now be published in the New Year.
Interesting.

As a result of the DH's dithering I won't be appearing on the Jeremy Vine Show on Radio 2 either. Oh well, more time for Christmas shopping ...

Could this have anything to do with the Democracy Institute Presentation on Wednesday 16th December at 11.00am 'Are Smoking Bans Necessary'
It is known that several members of the DoH have booked to attend this event by Dr Patrick Basham.
